Zavod za slovensko izobraževanje is the association that promoted the constitution of the Bilingual School Centre in San Pietro al Natisone, that after the adoption of the Law for the protection of the Slovenian minority in Italy became a state school. Today, the Institute operates as an association of parents and ensures the dissemination of Slovenian education in the area of the Province of Udine.
